HA- The Bookworm Club: a preteen bookclub

"Seven hearts the journy make. Seven ways the hearts will break."

The are the words of a wise woman, spoken to Rowan and his fellow villagers before they start a journey to save their village of Rin. They must climb a mountain and face a dragon in order to renew their dwindling water supply. Rowan must go, even though he is a child, because he is the only person who can read the map.  No one has ever returned from the mountain alive and, unfortunately Rowan is not known for his bravery. He has always been timid and meek, unlike his father, who died saving Rowan from a fire.

This is a story of adventure, suspense, and fantasy. Rowan discovers that what he thought were his weaknesses are actually his strengths and that he is important to the people that he loves.
