Archie, meet your new librarian!

Hi, I’m Robin Tucker. I moved to Archie twelve years ago with my husband and son who was almost 2 years old. We were looking for a small town community to raise a family in. We later had a daughter join our small family. We love living in a rural area and currently raise chickens and goats.

I graduated with a Fashion Design degree from then Southwest Missouri State University. I spent about seven years making and working with patterns for Lee Jeans in Kansas before moving to Archie. After staying home for several years with my children, I starting subbing for the Archie School District and working as the Archie Library’s substitute assistant.

Those experiences led me to become the Preschool Teacher’s Assistant for several years at the school. During those years I discovered how much I love reading to children! I’m excited to be manager of the Archie Branch in a town that I’ve called home for many years.
