Former Garden City Branch Manager, Marilyn Thomas, Retires

Marilyn Thomas started with Cass County Public Library in 1985 as the Creighton Branch Supervisor. She then moved to the Garden City branch, where she has been ever since. She served as the Branch Manager there until 2007, when she “retired” the first time. Since then, she has served as a Library Assistant.

A retirement reception was held in her honor at the Garden City branch on Saturday. Family, co-workers, and many, many library patrons and residents stopped by to congratulate Marilyn.

After 32 years of dedicated service, we congratulate Marilyn on her retirement, and thank her for her service to her community. She will be dearly missed by colleagues and Garden City residents. We wish her well on her new adventure!
