Northern Resource Center to close for relocation

Dates Closed
The Northern Resource Center in Belton will close Monday, October 31 and remain closed through Sunday, November 13 to relocate the library.

Reopen Date/New Location
The branch will reopen on Monday, November 14 in its new home at 1741 E North Ave, Belton, MO.

Due Dates Extended
All due dates beginning October 31 through November 13 will be extended until Saturday, November 19.

Holds
Holds for NRC patrons will be rerouted and made available for pick up at our location in Harrisonville (400 E Mechanic).

Alternately, you may choose to stop your holds. To stop holds during the closure, call 816-331-0049. Once stopped, your holds list will reactivate on November 14; you will not lose your place in the wait list.

Programs
No programs will be held during the closure. Consult the online calendar for rescheduled events.

Story times will be canceled for two weeks before the move. The final story times before the move will be on Tuesday, October 18 (Lapsit story time, 9:30am; Preschool story time, 11:00am).
