Notary Service at Your Library
Starting on May 17th, Cass County Public Library will offer notary services throughout the county. A notary public acts as an impartial third-party witness to the signature of a document, and that all parties who signed a document did so willingly and under their own free will. Documents that may require notarization are wills, trusts, deeds, contracts, and affidavits. The library will offer this service at no charge to patrons.
Bring a government-issued photo ID when you visit, and library staff can help you. Not all staff are licensed notaries public, and notary services are not available during all operating hours.
To ensure that a notary is available, please call ahead to your branch.
